Hi all,
I am really hoping to score a reasonably priced isight from someone on this list. It needs to be in good condition and have the firewire cable and the laptop clip. Please email me if you have one that you're not using anymore and want to sell. Thanks!!!

Hello,

I will be receiving my MacBook Pro this week so I am planning on selling my current set up which is a 12" 1.5GHz PowerBook and an iSight. I was planning on selling it as a complete set, but I'd be willing to sell the iSight separately for $100 shipped. It's in excellent, as new condition complete in the original box with all the original and unused stands, FireWire cable, storage tube, etc. I only used the screen mount with my iBook but it is in perfect condition as well. I am PayPal verified and a longtime eBay seller if you'd like references and you are also welcome to contact me directly.

Thanks for the offer Terry,

I was hoping to get one for a little less $$. I was able to get one (but I need another) for $79 from the apple store-a refreshed unit. So, I was hoping to pay at most that...+ shipping.

So if anyone out there has one for that price, I'd be happy to do the transaction with you.

Hey Terry, thanks again and I am sure you are going to love your new MacBookPro!!! enjoy!

Hi IC,

I'm looking to do the same thing for my mom (who is now addicted to voice chat).

Is the isight deal you mention an in-store thing or is it somewhere on the web? (the nearest apple store is 3 1/2 hours away!)

Thanks!

I scored the isight in a store...and it was a store in NY, even though I am in NC. They do not ship, so if you know someone who lives near a store and can pay for it AND pick it up for you and ship it to you THEN, you can start calling them to ask if they have any refreshed isight's in stock. I have been calling the store near me every day and asking and I have been told that they get one in about every 2 months. They also told me that lots of people are asking for the. I guess it is a really great product because NO ONE is returning theirs.

I got really lucky to find mine. I also called the 800-MY-APPLE and was told that you can check the refurb section of the apple site. I have been doing that too, without luck.

That's too bad that the nearest apple store is 3 & 1/2 hours away. They are great stores and give such great classes and service! I just took an iwork workshop the other day which turned out to be a private lesson for me, tailored to what I wanted to learn! It was awesome!

Anyway, good luck to you for fiinding an isight as well.

I am just about to list mine on eBay today as my MBP arrives tomorrow (finally). I'll sell my iSight for $93 shipped which is less than you will find on eBay and you already know the availability in the stores. With the recent huge increase of iSight users with the new iMacs and MBPs, these are just going to get more and more desirable and hard to come by, especially non-new ones since the demand is just getting stronger.

Assuming it's all in working order, I'll call dibs if IC doesn't want it. Any interest in a trade of a colorvision spyder2 for it (going on eBay for the $100-$125 range the last time I looked)?

Hi techound1,

You are the first to respond so I'd say if you want it, then it's yours!

Let me know and we'll go from there!

Sorry, but I can't include all that. I was offered $100 without the need for shipping locally today so I'll still honor $93, but if you want Priority shipping and insurance you'll need to add another $7 or so.

Let me know.

Hey techound1,

My local sale isn't going thru since we found out they have dial-up and the iSight isn't going to work for them. Since lc found one, if you are still interested, mine is ready to ship right away!
