I'm wondering if anyone has an interest in having some old MacUser and MacWorld magazines. I need to clean up around here and those should go - but if someone has a big interest in old magazines, in Mac history, these magazines have some very interesting stuff.
Some of the topics on the covers include the Pippin, the first iMac introduction, the return of Steve Jobs to Apple, lots of Mac OS X talk (talking pre-public beta through 10.1!), the rise of clones, the death of clones, 20th Anniversary Mac, some very old stuff (late 80s, a couple of them), the iBook introduction (a couple MacAddicts I have as well), and on and on...
I need to make a firm count, but it is somewhere around 60 magazines I think, maybe more.
This is mostly just to see if someone would be interested in having them - if so, please let me know in this thread or private message. I can post photos if you'd like - this is mostly just a service. I'd rather these magazines go to Mac fans instead of getting tossed in the dumpster, they're really quite interesting and funny to read! (Did you know Power Computing advertised Mac clones that cost over $6000 in their ads? Crazy.)
