Hi,
I have a 667mhz DVI Titanium Powerbook and I'm interested in swapping out the bottom half for one of the 1ghz models. If anyone has a 1ghz that has a busted or problematic screen, I'd love to buy it, especially if it had 1gig of ram installed.
I'm also in the market for an ADC lucite cinema display, preferrably 22" or 23", preferrably with the DVI adaptor.
I'm in Chicago so any local deals would be great. If you're in Chicago and have one of the CRT Apple ADC displays and a DVI adaptor, I'd be interested in that.
Additionally, I have a bunch of parts from a clamshell iBook I don't need. All of the casing except the keyboard is there -- the trackpad cable is broken however. Two batteries, which either don't work or the charging board doesn't work. All the internal metal pieces. The modem. The CD drive. If anyone is interested in these things, I'd trade everything for a decent internal IDE hard drive, laptop or desktop, an external drive enclosure (2.5, 3.5 or 5.5), a USB 2 PCMCIA card that works with TiBooks, etc. Can add cash if necessary.
Also, I'm interested in the following for a TiBook:
- 512mb ram sticks (2)
- A good hard case
- Interesting PCMCIA cards
- Good battery
- tilt and tote or other type of handle
- screen protector cloth thing
