Hi Everyone.
I just bought an iMac Intel 17 inch and now I have a few other bills to pay and I am looking to sell it. I am willing to sell for 1200. If anyone lives in or around Providence, Rhode Island, they can come by and pick it up for a cash deal. It hasnt been opened at all, still closed. You can open it here at my place and test it out and see if everything is alright. If anyone is interested let me know.

If someone would just buy my Powerbook...I'd be all over that deal.

Price dropped to $1175 for both the 23 inch cinema display and the iMac 17 inch Intel. I am kind of sad, I thought MacNN Marketplace was the best place to sell anything.

I think you are overestimating the MacNN Marketplace. Firstly, you have a measly 5 posts, and you haven't provided any references. Not to mention that seems an unusually low asking price - a bit unesettling to most of the experienced forum folks here. Why would you undervalue your *just purchased* gear?
If you took it to eBay you could create 3 or 1 day listings and sell everything quickly.

I didnt provide any references as I am willing to do this as only a cash deal, and I have been screwed over before by the scammers who sent me fake money orders. Wasn't really too happy about that. I didn't consider ebay, but now that you mention it, I'll try it, figured MacNN would be my first shot. Anyways. Thanks a lot.

It's a low asking price, as I am willing to get rid of it instanteously and willing to do a local deal.

If you are worried about security, you should consider the risks of doing a deal at your own place of residence.
