My dual 1ghz daughter card seems to have gone south. I turn the machine on and the power comes on but no video. After maybe 10 seconds, the case fan kicks in real hard. That's about it, no chime, nothing. I tried the same daughter card in another MDD that works for sure and it did the exact same thing.
So, I am looking for a new daughter card with processors on it... I think I can take the dual 867mhz, dual 1ghz or dual 1.25ghz. I think there was a FW800 dual 1.25ghz which I can't use without some motherboard kajiggery.
So let me know what you have and what you'd like to get for it.
Alternatively, I'd sell my setup for $750 or best offer, without the harddrive and with tons of extras (15" Cinema, 2gig ram, PCI->PCMCIA adapter, USB2.0, extra video card for DVI/ADC/VGA capability, airport, etc) . See:
