i have a 17" powerbook 1ghz with 1GB of RAM and 60 GB HD with bluetooth/airport/ backlit keyboard i could let go for $900 shipped if your interested

i agree with mehedgec. i don't think you will be able to find a 1.5ghz that cheap, even without applecare. i would guess that a fair "forums" price would be $1250 with applecare. (forums prices is generally better than ebay prices due to lack of ebay fees, and general lack of hassle)

On E-bay you can find a bunch of 1G Powerbooks for under 900.00 all day long. With applecare it's a bit more but not much. The price of 1200 for a powerbook isn't selling anywhere but here. You can get a 1.67 for that much.

perhaps, but there are a lot of steps between 1ghz and 1.5ghz. There were the 1.25 (what i have) and the 1.3ghz, and they introduced features like the backlit keyboards. and some of the 1ghz powerbooks are titanium powerbooks, not the aluminum. in any case, i hope you find what you're looking for. i'm personally on a hunt for a black macbook
