Hey, I was thinking about trading up to a MacBook Pro and wondered what the value is on my 17" Powerbook. It is in like new condition with no dead pixels. Any ideas?

The specs are as follows...

17" Powerbook G4 1.67GHz
1.5GB RAM
100GB HD
128MB VRAM
Bluetooth
Airport
MaxProtect II case
Mint condition

I'm only looking to get $1750, as I would think that would be a good deal for someone.

Look at eBay. I think your price is too high. The prices of these things have tanked like you will not believe. People would trade a Macbook for this, but nobody is going to trade a Macbook Pro.

I have no need for a pro laptop anymore anyway. I would trade for a glossy Macbook and some cash.

you price is good man
someone is gonna pick up a nice deal

Don't always go by ebay, sometimes people don't know anything about thier macs or don't advertise them properly. Many go cheap because of this

Thanks for the advice, I agree especially since it has barely been used and basically a new machine. For any less, I may as well just keep it to have in case I ever travel.
