hi,

Just wondering, in the original post you said that it is just under a year old, and then in another post you said that the warranty has run out. Is that correct?

thanks!

Well, I got a notice in the mail that the warrenty was about to end and that I should look into buying apple care. I can't really remember if it actually said it was over or not, but it probably will be in like 10-15 days.

I'm interested but need to sell my 12" PowerBook first. That may take a while though.

To find out about the warrenty you can go to Apple's site. Under the support tab you can put in your serial number and find out how long your warrenty is valid. I think serial number field is on the right side of the support page, near the bottom. Hope this helps.

good luck with the sale. i'm looking to sell my 15in PB, but can't seem to find any takers.. the MBs really killed our market!

as much as i know the prices have dropped, i can't seem to let my less-than-a-year-old PB go for less than a grand, lol

ok yeah, the warrenty is up and the internal speakers aren't working anymore. If you plug in anything in the output jack it works, but if you don't have anything pluged in it's only digital out. I can't figure out why the speakers won't work anymore.
