Ok, after some thought and time spent looking I think I am just going to change my idea to a Sale and trade out for a Alum or 1Ghz Ti for these Powerbooks.

I have NO IDEA what to ask on these but was requested to post a price so sure I will, if its off just let me know I honestly do not know what to ask.

1st we have a good Powerbook G4 867mhz 15" **Thinking 700**
512MB Ram PC133 256x2
40gig HD
Airport Wireless
Combo Drive (DVD/CDRW)
Good Battery
Hinge on the left side is epoxed back on. I will provide photo's tomorrow when its finished drying and back in place.

This laptop works just fine.

I also have the following
Powerbook G4 800mhz Ti **As it sits right now 265 Shipped USPS Priority**
96MB Ram
no HD
Combo Drive (DVD/CDRW)
Airport Card
Bad Battery
15inch screen thats not connected. It needs a new main ribbon cable and combo drive cable
The motherboard will not display an image on an lcd unless you can replace the chip talked about here: (Like I did with the 867)
http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...81#post3024581
I am selling it as working with an external monitor. The LCD will NOT be connected to the unit as of this moment. It will just be a complete bottom. (To be clear I mean it is included its just not screwed on to the Powerbook)

I am willing to part the 800 out including the drive, airport etc but I have no idea on prices. I hate using eBay pricing since this is a forum so throw me decent offers. ^-^

In trade for everything I will take: **Must have airport and 512+ Ram, HD not needed**
Powerbook G4 1Ghz TiBook
Powerbook 15" Alum don't care about looks to much, no major dents.
Powerbook 17" Alum Same as above but I am more interested in a 15"
iBook G4 14" Thinking on the iBooks, not to sure here but I will think on them. I pref Powerbooks.

I will also trade for a good Ti Book 1Ghz MB and 1 gig of ram.

Ok I have found the problem and felt I should elaborate the condition of the Ti 867 Unit for those looking:
The 867 works just fine. You can use an external monitor you can still control the brightness of the LCD it just displays white... due to a small chip on the back.

I am giving a link to the problem that I am working to correct.

But basically I have a good 800DVI and a 867 thats has a bad screen ribbon cable which just needs replaced along with the small chip which I am trying to do. I am going to keep working on replacing the chip but I would pref to just trade and be done.

The thread is here:
http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...81#post3024581

I am about to just say part out and 800DVI for sale and go after a newer PB or iBook G4 though just to be done.

I honestly do not know what to ask. I really just need enough for a replacement Powerbook G4 so I will take a good solid offer.

I really don't see many Ti's for sale that are 867's or 800's. So I am not sure where to pull prices from.

The 867 is now working, the chip swap was a complete success!!!!! I am glad to have it back up and going!

I still want a Alum but I doubt I will get it so the 800dvi is being parted out! Maybe I should make a new thread...
