Greetings:

I bought a Macbook so sadly putting this machine up for sale. It's a great machine and runs Photoshop very well, but I need the portability of a laptop and want to get back some space in my home.

I'd prefer to sell it is a whole unit but am open to parting it out (prices for parts listed in the specs). I'd strongly prefer selling the processor upgrade first. Regarding the processor, it is your responsibility to determine that it is compatible with your machine -- certain Sawtooth motherboards are not capable of running this, see this link agp_dual_compat

It started life as a Sawtooth G4 tower and I've added the following:
  • OWC/Powerlogix dual 1.5GHz G4 (7447A) processor upgrade $300
  • Retail ATI Radeon 9800Pro MacEdition (128 meg VRAM) $200
  • Seagate ST3120026A 120 gig hard drive $30
  • 1 gig of memory (4 256meg sticks, $20 each, $75 for all)
  • NEC ND-3540A CD-RW/DVD-RW drive $40
  • Seasonic Super Tornado 300W power supply $70, includes modified wiring harness
  • Updated internal 120mm fan $15

This is all top shelf stuff and the machine runs very reliably. I had to do some Dremel work on the rear panel to get the new power supply to fit (the power plug was in a different place) and to improve airflow.

I have most if not all the original parts if you want them.

I'm located in the San Francisco Bay Area if anyone local is interested. I'd be willing to ship if needed.

Asking $700/best reasonable offer and I will accept paypal or USPS Money Order. Shipping costs for the whole machine will be worked out if needed, prices for parts include shipping, discounts for multiple parts negotiable.

I have an excellent history on ebay as cyberee and on fredmiranda.com as cybere

Here are some pictures of the machine:

thanks for checking out this unique machine

Do you happen to have the original 237-watt Sawtooth power supply, 661-2303, 614-0108?
If so, please quote an asking price.
