Powerbook 15-Inch 1.67ghz Fully loaded on RAM. This was the last revision and also has OEM RAM bought from macsales.com.

9+ condition, one minor scratch on the bottom case. Really great laptop, its time to move up and on. No white spots or other issues with performance.

I am looking for $1750 plus shipping.

Good luck getting that much for it. I have the same machine and I couldn't even get people to pay $1500 on eBay or here and other forums. The release of the MacBooks and MacBook Pros have really dropped the price on PowerBooks.

Yeah, your best bet is ebay, but even there you'll be lucky to get $1500. I've noticed that sales have started going back up though, but still around $1300.

$1750 is never going to happen.

I wasn't trying to thread crap, only trying to make him more aware of the going prices for these things.

Refurbished from Apple is only 1350. Even if you upgrade the RAM to 2gigs off the 512 you get from that, you're still going to be about 100 dollars richer than what he's selling his for. Any readers here will most certainly know that.

Use a PM. Not sure how they do the FS rules here but I am used to PMing the person or just posting a link and saying heres some info for ya. Hope it helps.

I was not meaning only you. Both were well worded and trying to help so I am sure its no problem. But a PM accomplishes the same thing. If you want to post a link thats one thing and just leave it at that. If you want to talk price shoot a PM.

Not everyone knows about price changes, I know I am not always up with them. I am sure with the information he has he will either sell it locally or change his listing or keep it firm. Its all up to him.

Sorry if you felt I was attacking you spec. I just think its better to send a PM when you start using numbers or price quotes. A Link to apple is just a good ref but even that could be a PM. *shrug*

Trust me I looked at this thread hopeful for a possible purchase. After viewing it I moved on. When I saw it at the top again I thought it was a new one. Noticed it wasn't and just posted the link to a fact straight from apple for him.

Cross, 2gig of RAM and 80GB HD. I was thinking... since I am going to buy a macbook from apple and the won't ship to an APO we could work out a swap. Email me at joetothphotography@mac.com to discuss details.
