Sounds like a good deal, just a few questions.
How long ago did you purchase it???
Any reason in particular your getting rid of it???
And finally this one not related to the first two, has anybody used the planar 20 in lcd's??? Thanks.

Local guy was selling his entire system on cragislist. I only wanted the Powermac part of the pkg.. he didn't want to split things up, so I figured I would use it until I could re-sell. I mean its an awfully nice display, but not at the cost/value vs. what I already have. I'm just trying not to get too hooked on it so I won't have sellers remorse
The display is 3 years old (Spring 03). Its in excellent shape and has no dead pixels.
Original box/packing materials, etc.
Somewhat flexible on price.

Not that I've noticed... what's the best way to test?
(I've not researched these to be aware of the "known issues" (assuming this was one))
Mike
EDIT: if its there at all, its 95% "power of suggestion".. ie. as I stare at the MacNN background on this page, if someone asked me if the white wasn't 100% totally pure, I'd say it had a small pinkness, but I wouldn't have noticed at all except you asked . Unless you are staring at full white, the answer is no. All the other colors seem dead-on, and the only part that seems less than 100% pure is nearest the very bottom of the display (I did run thru the Display pref panel calibration sequence). On balance, I'd really say no... ie. if people complained about this it had to be MUCH worse on other displays... and yes, I have a 37" LCD downstairs, so I am somewhat of a video snob.

Been staring at it and my LCD at work (20" Thinkvision from IBM), I don't think it has any more hue than my work LCD.
Would $400 + shipping entice anyone?
