Hello, everyone. I have never used these forums before, but have been over on MacRumors for a while (username baby duck monge) and wasn't having too much luck with what I was trying to trade there so I thought I would try here. If you're worried since I have no other posts here, please check me out on those boards to reassure yourself!

Also, I will go ahead and appologize in advance in case I do something wrong - I checked the "read before you post" thread, and didn't see anything about newbies posting in the Marketplace, so here goes...

(Basically copied from my thread on MR)

I have the two computers in my sig. as well as a Viewsonic VG710s and a Samsung 172x. I should also mention that the PowerBook has almost 2 years of AppleCare left. Here are the things I may be interested in doing:

1) Trading both my computers for a 12" G4 iBook and a G4 PowerMac
2) Trading both my computers and a monitor for a 12" G4 iBook and a G5 PowerMac
3) Trading just my Mini (and perhaps a monitor) for a G4 PowerMac
4) Trading my PowerBook for a 12" iBook + cash
5) Trading my PowerBook (and perhaps a monitor) for a MacBook
6) Trading both my monitors for a 20" LCD (perferably widescreen)
7) Selling one or both of the monitors
8) Some combination of these things
9) Other, similar trades

I have done business with a number of people on MacRumors, and can provide references upon request (though you will have to PM the members there to check them).

Feel free to make offers or ask questions here, over AIM, by e-mail, or via PM. Thanks, guys!

For reference, here is the link to my original thread: Linky.

The Viewsonic monitor was sold to a local buyer through Craigslist. Everything else is still up for grabs. I'm especially looking to trade the PB for an iBook + cash or the Samsung monitor + cash for a 20" LCD. Danke.

Hey, thanks a lot!

You heard it here first, folks, I have managed to not alienate at least one person over at MacRumors You should now feel confident trading me your 20" or 21" LCD for my Samsung and a bit of cash. It'll be great.

Taking one of my bumps here.

Looking for someone that would want to trade a 20" or 21" LCD for my Samsung 172x and a bit of cash. Also looking to sell the monitor outright. It's in perfect condition with no dead pixels, all original packaging, and even a mounting bracket to put it on the wall!
