I'd prefer RAID. I bought a powermac G4 not too long ago on craig's list to replace my linux server, but it doesn't recognize large hdds nor the controller card i have in my linux server. on top of it all controller cards are twice as much for the mac, even at newegg. they have a refurb for ~$100, but i thought i'd see if anybody has one for sale first.

Actually I am doing good as far as usb/firewire, so the extra cost for a non-Raid controller is not what I am looking for. A great card for early G4 or especially G3 B&W.
