Hey everyone, my fiance upgraded a PowerMac G4 and we're now trying to sell it. Rather than dragging up an old thread, I just thought I'd start new.
Anyways, the specs are:
1.7 GHz Sonnet Encore/ST G4
1.75 GB SDRAM
ATI Rage 128 Pro, 16MB
3 Hard Drives (Main = 60 GB, 2 Additional drives = 40 GB and 80 GB), 7200rpm
USB 2.0 PCI Card
DVD-ROM
We're selling it because neither of us really use it much anymore, and we're both going to start using our laptops as our main machines (ie: we want to use the money towards some nicer external monitors and hard drives).
It's hard to put a price tag on a machine that's not of the typical specs, but I was looking at eBay and the 1.25DP G4s are going for ~800 + shipping, so I'm going to start my pricing at $750 + shipping (or maybe split shipping?), but PM me with offers and we can negotiate. Might also consider trades for the monitors/hard drives I mentioned above.
As for references: I traded my PB for a MB with
panoz7 on MacRumors, and sold an apple airport card to
KSE7696 on here. On eBay you can find me under
dlinteau, though I only have 3 feedback (tend not to use eBay much).
