EDIT: Oops, I put G5 in the post thread, sorry, it is too late to type. If a mod could change that to G4, thanks.

I have:

15 inch PowerBook G4
1.5 Ghz
1.5 GB RAM
80 GB HD (5400 RPM)
1280x854 resolution
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with 64 MB VRAM
APX, BT, Backlit KB
Combo Drive
Almost perfect condition, with the exception of a few scratches and a tiny dent on the lid

ALSO

Mac Mini
(Dual Booted with Windows XP Professional already)
1.66 Ghz Core Duo
512 MB RAM
80 GB HD (5400 RPM)
APX, BT
Super Drive
Integrated Graphics GMA950, 64 MB Shared
This unit is only 1 month and 10 days old, and has all the original stuff with it. Perfect condition.

I am looking to trade both units for a MacBook Pro, any revision.

Let me know if anyone would be interested in this.

Thanks.

yeah, but it has never ever been in the shop for any reason, and almost NEVER has a kernel panic or anything, so i didnt feel that i needed to buy applecare for it

also, i ran the extended test for Apple Hardware Test, and it passed with flying colors

i would say it is worth like 650, plus the dual booting, which i will include the disc, so i would say maybe 700, i dont know if that is reasonable or not

dual booting is not a big deal for me. I am capable of doing it myself. also, I can get a new mac mini for 700 bucks through the apple education store. so if you wanna just wipe the drive to bring the price down to about 600 I'd be interested.

I'm not saying this because I am interested in purchasing the mac mini, but I have the same powerbook you're offering only with 1GB of RAM and a SuperDrive and it is a fine machine. I imagine if you split the items you could get more cash for the two separate than if you just did a trade. but that's just me. good luck with things though. in addition to the mac mini I'm looking to purchase a MacBook.

i think the same thing too, but i must have a computer as i do graphic design freelance, so if i sell outright, i am almost guaranteed to be without a computer for several days

that is why i was hoping to trade so that i could always have a computer
