I'm one of those odd fellows who likes to take the oldest machine they can get their hands on and see what it can still be used for.
My current pride and joy are a PowerBook 1400cs/117 with a working battery that I got for free, and a PowerBook 3400c/180 with two working batteries that I traded an old Compaq for. Both are in pristine condition, I have an Orinoco PCMCIA wifi card to use with them, but my problem is that both of them have 16 MB of RAM and this severely cripples them.
I'm looking for RAM modules for both these machines, of any size, for a reasonable price. Now, I'm not sure what that would be, given how old and generally unused these machines are. In addition, I may be interested in a faster processor board for my 1400, a 133 or 166 that I can drop into it.
128 MB of RAM would be nice for the 3400, so then I can cram OS X onto it using XPostFacto (yes, I am insane), but I'll take whatever I can get... 32 for each of them would be just dandy so I can at least run OS 9.
For shipping calculations, I am located in Minneapolis, MN. Local pick-ups are favored. ^^
