i'm selling an external hard drive with usb 2.0 and firewire 400 connections (and cables).
i bought the enclosure and the hard drive separately.
The hard drive is a retail Seagate 2.5" 5400rpm 100gb hard drive purchased from best buy about 2 years ago. So it has about 3 years left on the warranty. (since retail hard drives have a 5 year warranty). the hard drive is NOT SATA.
the enclosure is a slim aluminum enclosure with both usb 2.0 and firewire 400 connections. No ac adapter is included because it isn't even required! it is bus powered. the cables and a slim leather case is included.
i have used the hard drive and the enclosure with both pcs and macs. In fact, most recently, i had the hard drive partitioned into 2 partitions. One was a Mac HFS partition, and the other was a Windows NFTS partition.
i'm asking $130 paypaled and shipped.
The hard drive alone costs $125 from newegg.com and the enclosure cost over $30, paypal and shipping is worth another $10-$15.
i think it is a fair price.
