I am looking for an IDE hard drive for a PowerMac G4. Something around 80GB-120GB would be perfect. Will consider smaller drives also but nothing below 40GB.

I am willing to trade a 30GB 4200 laptop hard drive with external USB enclosure and carrying case.

A new 80GB drive can be purchased for about $45 at NewEgg but I don't want to spend any cash unless I really need to. Let me know what you have an maybe we can work out a deal.

I can send pics of the drive and enclosure if needed.

I have a Seagate 400GB Hard drive. I bought it last week for my mom's Vaio but then decided to just buy her a new computer instead. $155 shipped if you or anyone else who is interested.

Does the enclosure power the harddrive via USB bus power, or do you have to plug in a DC adapter?

I'd like to see pics of it as well.

It uses the USB bus for power. If you don't have a powered bus it can use a power supply but I don't have one. Send me a PM with your email and I will send a pic to you this evening.

Thanks but that is more than I am looking to spend. I would rather make a trade right now.
