Apologies, but it sure sounds like a scam after such a long time with no answers. Next time say something like, " I'm going to be gone for a week," so that people will know where you are and that you didn't fall off of the planet.

let me just say, that powerbook looks just like the powerbook offered to me in a trade about 5 months ago... and considering the uniqueness of the keyboard, i don't think i'm mistaken...

if this is steve landon from michigan... you might want to steer clear of this one...

i've already posted about him, he use to go by frylock1701 here, but was banned...

Yeah, watch out for this guy! I have been in tough with him about a trade and we were all ready to do the trade. First is shipped first class mail and it got returned to sender for some reason. Then we agreed that to simplify things we would ship on the same day. Yesterday was the day that i shipped everything and he claimed he did the same. I gave him my tracking # and at night it became "trackable" online throught USPS web site, it said that it was accepted at the post office and what not. Anyway he then gave me a bogus shipping # and claimed that i was trying to scam him, and that he was going to file mail fraud report and what not. Anyway, at this point i knew something was up so i looked on a bunch of forums to find out more about this guy and it turns you i think he is this Steve Landon guy. The address he gave me was from Michigan and it was to be shipped to a very similar area code as the others specified by other people who have been scamed by him. Although he has given me a differnt name, many of the stories that are posted on the thread about him on applefritter seem to match and there are many similarities in the way that he has delt with me. I called the post office this morning and was lucky enought to get them to hold my pacakge! I picked it up today so i just avoided being scammed! Anyway i know their are a lot of people who are aware of this guy so if you need anymore info feel free to PM me. Again, if i am wrong about this guy, (which i am probobly not) please let me know or delete this post. I wasnt going to post here, but then when i saw sledsbehave's post i put two and two together and decided that i would warn everyone on this site, becasue i know many of you were interested in buying things from him!

Thanks and feel free to PM me if you have more info or need more info!

Thanks,
Jason

All My items are legitiamate as you can see in the photos. If need be i can take pics of the items with my name written on a piece of paper placed next to the items.

Thank you

Mods please delete sledsbehaves post

Pictures of pismo has been removed until new pics are taken with my username and name and date in them to prove sledsbehave wrong.
ok, maybe i'm wrong, but this sounds like the same guy... complicated stories... everytime he emailed me, it was from his "sisters" cellphone and he was helping his grandmother move and all this stuff while trying to do a trade with me...

if this sounds familiar to anyone dealing with this guy, its likely the same guy, he uses various names and addresses in the michigan area.

I'm not sure i doubt whether he has the stuff, but he did agree to send first and then later changed it after i found out his tracking number was bogus.

as i said, i don't want to accuse the wrong person, but this all sounds strangely familiar, and that is the pismo laptop he was offering.
as ever,
sonny

How about you just take a picture that has a piece of paper with your name in it and everybody will stop doubting you. Otherwise, I think this thread should be deleted.

Even if he was to take a picture with his name next to it, that doesnt prove anything. I dont doubt that he actually has some of these items, heck he probobly scammed them off people however i dont believe he has any intension of actually shipping them to the tradder/ buyer.

IMO if he gets the pictures taken, we should give him the benefit of the doubt. You're right, it doesn't prove that he isn't going to scam people on here. If he doesn't produce the pictures however, this thread should be locked and he should be banned from posting things for sale. I know for sure I've seen that pismo picture on here before.

OK,

So you definatley have the items, but the question is do you actually ship them? Since you claim that you have already shipped my items that we worked out in the trade, i will let you and everyone else know if and when i get them! If i dont get them then we will know that you are a scam!

You are taking your chances. Some of the items he has, some I don't think so, but I am not sure, some of what he has may not have been obtained legitamitly although I can not verify. His history is not to follow through on trades.

Steven if your reading this do not touch my computer equipment or use my service provider again. I will not tolerate your dishonest antics.
