I have a Sony PS2 with 2 PS2 memory cards, two PS1 memory cards, 3 PS2 games (Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Sims 2 and a car racing game) and FINAL FANTASY TACTICS (a rare game to find today). This game console also has 2 controllers, one blue and another black. All games are mint condition - opened but WELL taken care of. I am asking $300 obo via paypal before I put it on ebay. I have an ebay acount with the username "heartsglory". Check that for references please. You may pm me or email me: rdavis@hcis.net with any questions. Thanks! (Will try to put up pics later).

my fiance would be interested in one of the controllers, and maybe a memory card or two, if you'd be willing to part out. i figured it might be a longshot, but thought i might as well ask. lmk if you'd be willing to sell them separate and if so, for what price.

I would consider parting out. This is how I would like for things to go:
The PS2: $90
Each controller: $20
EAch PS2 memory card: $12
Both PS1 memory cards: $5
Ghost Recon: $35
Sims 2: $30
The racing game: $10
Final Fantasy Tactics: $25 (This IS a rare game).

Prices are negotiable guys but PLEASE no low blow offers.

I just sold a PS2 with an extra controller, memory card (both Sony brand) and a Best Buy Extended Warranty (5 months left) for $115 + $18 shipping on eBay.

I'd say that $175 shipped would be a fair offer for your package, assuming that everything is Sony brand. The games are nothing special and would bring you very little sold separately on eBay. If the controllers/memory cards are generic, you'd get little to nothing for them on eBay.

Just check the completed auctions on eBay for the various items.

I haven't checked, but I suspect that if you parted each item out, this is what you'd get:

PS2 - $100
Controller - $10-15 (if Sony), $5-10 (if offbrand)
PS2 Memory Cards - $8-10 each (if Sony), $5 (if offbrand)
PS1 Memory Cards - $3-5 (Sony), $2-3 (if offbrand)

Ghost Recon - $10 maybe
Sims 2 - $15 maybe
Racing - depends on what game it is

Honestly, you're best bet is to part it out. Packages don't sell well. Just check eBay. I've seen packages with 5-10 games, memory card, extra controller sell for like $100-120. In general, I'd expect to get way less on a forum that on eBay.

I'll give you $50 + shipping for just the PS2, controllers and the memory card.. I know its half of what your expecting, but you set the benchmark way too high compared to what these sell for plus you dont have to pay ebay any fees here..

anyway, i can do a paypal.. if you wanna consider and get back to me later, thats fine no hurry.. you know where to reach me..

c'mon man, i know he set his prices high at first, but $50 for all of that? give me a break. that's even too low for just the ps2.. let alone + controllers and memory card.

ebay fees aren't THAT high. gosh.

xfiftyfour,
you have given me a lot of input and I greatly appreciate it. I have two questions for you:
1. Are you interested or not?
2. If you are, then what are you willing to pay for the lot? The reason why I am selling these items is that my wife and I do not play the Playstation anymore and the money I am using to take her on a nice trip to Chicago for our anniversary.

This goes for everyone reading this. I am just trying to sell it so that I can take my wife on a nice trip to Chicago. We already have the train tickets but would like to have some "extra" money for the trip. Those here who are married understand. $50 is a very low offer, I agree. I also agree that my original asking price was too high. That's why I came down to $185 for the entire lot. $185 included shipping (the set BIN price) just so anyone who wants to go to ebay and see the link in a previous post.

No, thanks. He decided he doesn't play it enough to really justify the buy right now, and said that if he started up, he'd just go ahead and pick up a couple of used controllers from gamestop for $10 a piece without worrying about shipping or anything.

Good luck with your sell, though!

I didnt mean to put a $50 bid just for the sake of a low ball offer. I didnt see many offers so I just started with $50. Its totally upto him to decide whats the purpose of the sale. If he's looking to get good value for the stuff, then he's welcome to wait and hopefully he'll find someone who might be fitting. On the other hand, if its something just lying around and someone just wants to get rid of it, I think $50 + shipping is a decent starting point.

Good luck on the sale though! =) My offer still stands. Take your time! Im patient as ever..

Well, now that you have a bid on your eBay auction, you're commited to sell it there.

And I'm sorry to say this, but you're going to get reamed.

1. No pictures.

2. Crappy descrition. 75% of the auction describes how much you hate Nigerian scammers.

3. The whole diatrebe about Nigerian scammers. You're only going to scare away honest buyers with that crap. I find that whole xenophobic diatrebe to be honestly offensive.

4. Low feedback.

5. Ridiculously high shipping. I shipped a PS2 for $12. And $10 insurance? It's FREE with UPS. USPS charged $3.30 for $100 insurance.

You'll be lucky to rake in $100. Sorry, but that is a horrible eBay auction. I wouldn't touch it if I were a buyer.

Unfortunately, at this point, you cannot edit your auction at all. Good luck.

PS: If you're PS2 is only 2 months old, it'd be the new slim version, not the old version as pictured.
