Which imac g3 did you pull it out of? I just got an imac g3 DV (green, 400 mhz, 10 gig hd), do you know if that might support it. I investigated further (iMac DV G3/400 (Slot Loading)) and it says that it can support 1 GB, i just didn't know if anyone had actually tested that.
If compatable, i'm more than interested for that price.

This was pulled from an "iMac (Summer 2001)" machine, which was a 600MHz model. According to MacTracker, this is exactly the right RAM for your machine.
