This is a flawless computer, but I've decided to go completely mobile and just use my Macbook and an external monitor. This computer is less than a year old, so it is still eligible for Applecare.

Maybe, since the new iMac's are out and starting at $999, but that's w/o your ram and Superdrive.

That's right the advantages of this iMac over the $999 model are:
ATI 128MB X1600 graphics vs integrated intel
Bluetooth
Apple Remote
1GB Ram in mine vs 512 in the $999 model

You may want to take into consideration that you can buy a brand new intel iMac from Apple with the same exact specs except for an upgrade on the 2.0 Ghz Core Duo processory for $1199. Also a full year of Applecare.

I know if it was me I would spend the extra $100 and get the faster processor and a brand new mac!

Some things to consider.

It's also worth noting that the new iMacs have the new Core 2 Duo processors.
