I'm new here. I'm on MacResource and this forum was recommended as a place to search for another 12" iBook for my daughter. We are new enough to the Mac world, having only used Macs for about 10 months, but we are totally addicted. Three of our five computers are now Macs!

I am working toward making all 5 Macs, and am looking to replace my daughter's windows desktop with an iBook. We home school and we are trying to get each of the kids their own Mac by the end of the year.

If anyone has one to part with, I'd love for you to e-mail me. I am looking for a g4, but processor speed is not a huge issue as long as it has plenty of ram, can run Tiger, and keep up with the new versions of iTunes, etc. My kids use them for schoolwork, but also use them to access internet, run iTunes, do lots of photos, etc. I do need wireless in it for sure.

If you have something that you'd be willing to part with for somewhere in the neighborhood of $500, please e-mail me at ssledoux@hughes.net.

Thanks!

But posting "Want to Buy" in the iBook forum is a no-no too. The Marketplace forum is the place for this sort of thing. So I'll move it there for you.

Welcome!
