Looking to buy a pismo in excellent cosmetic condition. A few things I'm looking for:

- firm hinges
- working DVD drive
- preferably a working battery
- preferably an airport card installed, though external card is fine too I guess.
- Cared for and not abused - no cracks in plastics anywhere


That's it! WIth the problems I have had with my macbooks and macbook pros, I need a basic and reliable backup computer. I usually use my girlfriend's pismo but I need my own.

I'm thinking around $250 or so...

Your pismo will go to a very loving home with another pismo to keep it company....

Pete, PM me. I've got what you want

• screen replaced towards the end of the third year of Applecare
• bezel around keyboard replaced
• 500 Mhz / 768 MB RAM / 20 gig drive


It's problems:
• original battery doesn't hold a charge
• internal battery needs replacing, I think

I don't remember if it still has its airport card. I can also throw in a VST expansion bay drive (10 gig I think), along with the original DVD drive.
