I have a Dell 1907fp for sale. It's in perfect condition, no dead pixels, no marks, nothing. It's been sitting on my desk and nothing else.

The specifics can be found here from Dell.

I can post pictures if anyone wants them, as well as provide references from around these boards.

I'm selling because I'd rather have a widescreen.

So here's the deal: I'll either sell it outright for $210 shipped, or if someone has a dell 2007wfp they'd want to trade, I'll do that plus cash on my part.

Anyone?

eBay ~$260 shipped
Pricegrabber $249 + ship

$210 shipped...can't beat that with a stick

Believe me, it is tempting since my 1905 could use some company.

Does the 1907 have the same inputs and stand? The extra inputs are the only reason I have been looking at the 20" model.

The 1907 actually has more inputs than the 1905 (I think - not positive, because I'm going off the 1705fp monitors that my fiance has.. so assuming that the 1705's were the same as the 1905's).

But anyways, you'll know, lol: It has 4 USB ports, 1 USB upstream port, and both digital and analog ports. I think the only thing the 20" model has that the 19" does not is the av connectors (the S-video and composite video).

As for the stands, again, I *think* the 05 and 07 are different, from these google images:

thanks for the update. it seems they have the same ports, but different stands. How do you like the 1907 stand? I really like the elevation and ability to rotate the 1905.

I prefer the 1907 stand, actually. We have a couple of the 2005 monitors at work (same stand as the 1905 from the looks of it), and I find they take up a bit more room than the 07's, personally. I'm also kind of nitpicky, and I don't like the fact that the bottom of the 05 bezel "pops out" more than the others.. makes it look a little cheap, IMO, but that's preference, really.

And just FYI, you can elevate and rotate the 07's as well. I love that feature.. makes it very versatile!

I have the 1907 and a Apple Studio LCD Display 17" side by side on my desk. The Dell monitor is very nice and versatile (rotating screen, 4 USB ports, DVI, VGA) but the Apple has a better image quality. Maybe the video cards makes the difference. The Dell is connected on a ATI 8500 and the Apple on a ATI 7000. But I would recommend the 1907. Very good monitor......

thanks for the input! It really is a nice monitor.. no problems at all. I just want an upgrade!

but anyways, this is heading to eBay here in just a bit. thought I might give the mac forums a chance to grab a good deal, but it seems I'm not the only one wanting a widescreen instead!

fortunately for me, ebay will pay the price I offered plus some.
