I purchased a 8-Bay Firewire Rack Unit w/8 MOBILE RACKS for (8) 3.5" IDE HARD DRIVES unit and filled it with 8 - 200 gig Maxtor hard drives and now I have no reason for it. I paid over $1800 for this unit a few months ago and havent used it over 3 hours. I am selling it for $300 empty shipped or $1000 shipped with all Hard Drives.

I can send pictures and HD information if interested.

What is the internal drive interface? ie - PATA, SATA, something else?

It almost looks from the back like each drive has it's own interface card. Can the rack RAID the drives together, or are they all single drives barring software RAID?
