I am selling most of my setup as it's just too powerful for what I use it for. The MacPro is only 3 weeks old and the monitor was purchased in July, so they both still have their warranties. The MacPro is the standard stock configuration. Everything cost me close to $5000 ($2499 + $999 + $999 + $149 + tax) . I would like to keep one monitor and sell the rest as a package. Looking to get $3200. I would prefer a local buyer in SoCal, but if someone else is interested, they would be paying for shipping.

$2499 + $999 + $149 + tax(7.25%) = $3911.41. I was asking $3200, but will sell for $3050. Thats close to 25% off for a system that is only 3 weeks old. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I would have to dissagree, apples hold their value really well.. its not like buying a used car.. this computer is basically new for almost 800 dollars off..

I think this looks like a fantastic deal for someone who needs the computer!

$2400 + 900 + 100 = $3400

Refurb w/ new warranty:

$2200 + $850 + 100 = $3150

Notice in my post I said "great deal" it's more like a Okay deal. Forced me to post numbers now.

I'm a bit confused.. are you selling ONE display, or BOTH displays?

Second, if you don't like the price, lay off the guy, let him get his offers. Just cause you don't want it doesn't mean someone else doesn't. There's something to be said about buying a machine and display used slightly (you know it's not going to be dead out of the box or have pixel issues)... and some people don't qualify for educational discount. Plus, no tax. Sounds like someone can save a solid $500 or more... and that goes a long way.

I didn't say I didn't like the price. I said "Ignore my previous post." He was the one that pointed out prices.

As to your question, what is there to be confused about? It says "I'd like to keep ONE display." 2 -1 = ONE Which brings me to my point to begin with. Because like some people in this thread thought it was macpro, 2 monitors and iSight which I thought was a GREAT deal or a "deal tooo good to be true." AFTER reading the post a second time and realized that you get macpro, ONE monitor and iSight it was a "okay deal." Then the orignal OP and another memeber started tossing numbers out so I disagreed and posted my own findings.

Sorry to be a prick but it's retarded when people start pointing fingers when you have three pointing right back at you.

I'm sure regular sellers (like TerryJ) on this forum and eBay (myself) know that you can't sell something used on these forums for more than what you can buy it from Apple as a refurb unit with a new warranty.

As to the OP, sorry for the thread crapping.

I don't know why there seems to be some confusion on what is for sale, so I will post it again.

Mac Pro with 1 23" Apple LCD and iSight for $3050.
I will now sell the 2nd 23" LCD also if someone wants to buy it as a whole package for $3800.

It's because when you break out the price of spending almost $5K Plus showing pictures of 2 monitors, macpro and isight it is irrelevant to what you're actually selling. Then they see the price posted they assume (like myself) that’s what you're selling. Then when actually taking time to read what you're selling, you realize that it's 1 monitor not 2. Goes from Great deal to a okay deal. If it were me, I would piece it out because most people already have one or the other and would probably sell faster if sold seperately. I'm speaking from experience. Very rare do package deals like this work unless its a killer deal which the seller loses money. Maybe $2100 for the MacPro, $800 for 23" monitor, $100 iSight. Buyer picks up shipping Good Luck JMT529.

Nice set up !
I missed the speed of the MacPro, pricing must be more important

Is it the standard config: RAM, Hard Drive, Video Card etc ?
What part of Sthrn Cal
Will you consider shipping ?
