I'm looking for an optical drive for my iBook g4. Doesn't need to be fancy but it needs to work fine. I'm looking to pay around $30 shipped for it. I can pay through paypal. I have ebay feedback under collin627. My email address is collin(dot)xtreme973(at)gmail(dot)com

Nope I don't think so. If it's just a slot loading combo or super drive, it should fit no problem

D'oh! These are trays, which make them g3. Sorry!
