You should have replaced the battery under the repair program. I'm certain it was covered. If you still have the machine, go to Apple's web site and check your serial number again. They have changed the list of affected machines.

Ok I got ahold of apple and they are sending me a new battery so that will go out with the laptop..

800 is the cheapest I will go.. I need 800 in order to get me xbox360 and buy a pc from a friend..

unless some one has a 360 and 400 cash then i might do that..

This exact machine just sold here on MacNN for $699 shipped. You might need to go lower if you want to move it, assuming that you continue to get 0 bids on eBay as well.

P.S. For future reference, you might want to lower the starting price on your auctions b/c it will usually end up going higher. If you start it high, you will get less action. YMMV
