I'm selling my used Sony Vaio ultraportable notebook computer. Although this is a notebook type computer, it is incredibly small and light weight. The screen must be seen to be believed. It is extremely sharp and colorful (as are all Sony screens) and only a couple of millimeters thin! I purchased this computer new in early 2006 to use with a database when I travel. Unfortunately, I found out I never needed to take it when I traveled and my wife wants me to sell it. It is in excellent condition, with all packaging and manuals. I paid over $2,600 for this computer earlier this year. I've reinstalled Windows to the factory condition and it is boxed up like it it is brand new. I kept all original packaging.
The computer can also be used in WWAN mode on any EDGE cellular network (with the appropriate cellular plan). It came from the factory set for the Cingular EDGE network, but I have called Sony's technical support and unlocked it to work with other EDGE networks (like T-mobile). I have not tried the WWAN module, so I cannot confirm the network speeds.
I have upgraded the RAM to the maximum of 1.5 GB with Crucial RAM.
