Hi All,

I suppose at least one of you has been following my clamshell mod thread. It looks like we have a very possible winner in the LG LCD cable that came with some clamshell iBooks. I can't find it for less than $40 online, and it's not on eBay at all.

If anyone has a clamshell LCD cable they can spare, please please let me know. Thanks!!

I need the LG-branded clamshell LCD cable.

The cable has a white small flat 20-pin connector on the LCD end. If the cable is labeled, the sticker should have part number HPU280010500U02 on it somewhere. Note the "5" in that number. The Samsung cable has a very similar number with a "2" in place of the "5", so I need the "5" one.

The connector on the LG clamshell LCD cable is identical to the connector on the G3/G4 white iBook cable, if you need that for reference.

If you can find one of these, please PLEASE let me know, and let me know what you want for it. PM is probably the best route, in case I forget to check this thread in time.

FWIW, someone in the clamshell mod thread mentioned they've only found the LG cables in 466Mhz Graphite clamshell iBooks. Maybe that can help!
