Hey everyone!
I'm selling my Powerbook G4, which has been my workhorse for quite a while. Recently, I was assigned a Macbook Pro at work, and I've found myself using my Powerbook less and less.
The specs are:
G4 1.25 ghz
15" screen
Radeon 9600
1 gig of RAM (Apple branded, came with the machine)
Backlit keyboard
Superdrive
Bluetooth/Airport Extreme
I also replaced the hard drive a little over a year ago. The Apple supplied drive failed, so I put in a Toshiba 80 gig drive. It's a 5,400 RPM with a 16 MB buffer, so it should provide a bit of a boost from the original drive.
There are a few issues. There is some compression on the cd drive, which I may take care of (this is just cosmetic, compression just refers to the cd drive slot having a bend in the top). I'm installing a brand new top case on it, so that part of the case will be mint. (I'm referring to the case where the palm rests are.) The only remaining issue seems to be the DC inverter board. To get it to take power, sometimes you have to turn the power cord back and forth a bit. Usually a turn halfway fixes the problem. It's not the power cord, I've tested multiple ones, which leaves the DC power board as the culprit. Again, it's not a big deal, it doesn't stop the Powerbook from charging. Just a minor annoyance you might want to fix. New DC power boards run about $50.
Speaking of power cords, I had two power cords for it, but somehow my second power cord got swapped at work for a 45w iBook power cord. I don't need it, so I'll throw it in. I can't recommend you use the 45w iBook power cord with the Powerbook, but it's probably handy if you have an iBook around.
I'm asking $700 for it, but I will take best offer if you feel that is high. I think that's fair given the upgrades, and that I'm upgrading the top case back to mint condition. I also have the original box out in the garage, and can probably gather the manuals and CD's up too.
I've been on the forums a really long time, but if you need to see my Ebay profile, you can find it here:

Edit: I'll also throw in a copy of Tiger too.
