honestly, no there is not.
However, I have learned a trick or two that might help. If you have your bank account registered with paypal make sure to always keep a low balance in your account. Once you receive the payment immediately transfer those funds to your bank account and then once the funds get deposited into your bank account transfer them to another account immediately.
This way, if the buyer tries to screw you over and puts a dispute up saying they didn't receive the item or something you can just say screw you to paypal because they will only be able to mess with that one bank account that has around $10 in it.
You can also make sure to use credit cards that protect from fraudulent charges. I personally hate paypal, but so many people use it that it is hard to get around sometimes.
I recently had a transaction where a guy said that he did not receive the laptop I sent him, which is total crap b/c I had delivery confirmation. Paypal tried to take money from my account, but my bank account only had $10 in it. When paypal tried to withdrawl more than that, my bank called me and I told them that it was an unauthorized charge. They did a stop payment and paypal sent me a couple of emails. I emailed them back telling them to go to h_ll and that is the last I heard of that.
