I'm looking for a 500MHz iBook G3 in order to progress on the clamshell LCD project (link in sig).

All I need is the basic computer, with at minimum, the following:

Hard drive
Logic board
Optical drive
Display
Power Adapter
OS CDs (I believe this model shipped with OS 9 and OS X, both would be handy)

I don't even particularly need the keyboard, since I can attach a USB keyboard if necessary.

I'm going to take this even further - I just need this for a project. I will be willing to sell it back to you for whatever I paid for it, including shipping after I'm done with the project. I'm not looking to spend a whole lot here, and if I can come out with a modded clamshell and give you back this 500MHz iBook, that's even better for both of us.

Otherwise, I'm looking to spend no more than $100 shipped on this, and even that is pushing it. I know it's unlikely I'll find something that cheap, but I figured I'd ask.

My eBay feedback is under shifuimam - I'm honest, I won't screw you over, especially if we do a trade that ends up with you getting your iBook back.

Also, looking for same things as I was several months ago - clamshell iBook discs and boxes, clamshell iBook keyboard (any color, but blueberry preferred), clamshell iBook A/C adapter (can be third-party).
