D'you have any idea if the iPod USB power adapter would also work to power a shuffle?

<edit>Apple store says it does...</edit>

I'll take the adapter + the dock cable you mentioned. Could you do $15 shipped, or is $20 a set price?

Elgato EyeTV Hybrid HDTV Tuner & DVR

Works natively on both PowerPC and Intel since it is distributed as a Universal Binary. The USB 2.0 tuner functions as an analog tv tuner and digital off the air tuner. Very versatile! Combined with Elgato’s award winning EyeTV software, a truly Mac product is the result.

EyeTV features a built in DVR and programming guide making it easy to record, manage and store your favorite television shows. It also allows the use of the Apple Remote to control most functions and the software is Front Row compatible.

Morever, the software allows one click export to an iPod Video and seamless integration with Toast 8.0 allows recording onto DVD or CD. The content guide provides useful programming information. Will display up to 720p and 1080i with everything inbetween.

Breakout cable accepts input from devices such as VCR, videogame system and old camcorder. Great for digitizing old videos.

I’ve used it for the past 4 months on my iMac Core Duo 1.66 with a 23” Cinema Display. I was extremely happy with the results. Picture quality is clear and crisp. The tuner is able to maintain a strong signal even in remote areas.

Requirements:
• G4 500mhz. Dual G5 or Core Duo recommended for best experience
• Built in Native USB 2.0 port
• 10.4.7 or later
• Minimum of 512MB RAM

Included in Box:
• EyeTV analog/digital USB 2.0 TV receiver
• USB extension cable
• Breakout cable for composite, s-video and audio inputs
• IR remote control
• EyeTV program CDROM with serial number

Price: $115 shipped

LaCie mini Hard Drive & Hub 500GBLaCie - mini Hard Drive & Hub - USB 2.0 & FireWire 400

Designed to perfectly compliment the styling of the iMac. Features a 500GB 7200RPM for some serious storage or can be used as a boot drive since it's faster than the internal HD.

The Lacie drive powers on and off wih the iMac. Features 4 USB 2.0 ports and 2 Firewire 400 ports for extra connectivity.

I've been using this drive for at least 5 months now. I use my Mac Mini as my main desktop Mac. I have a 160GB 5400RM drive which just isn't enough storage. Having the extra 500megs and ports from the LaCie allowed me to use the Mac Mini on a daily basis. Every Mini owner shoudl consider getting one.

Price: $210
