Hey all,
Just like the title says, I'd like to get a new or gently used case for my G5. It is a Dual 2.0 GHz (Not Dual Core) model. One of the "Handles" was damaged when it was shipped to me, and it has a bunch of scratches and after a moving issue, its now dented on the bottom rear handle as well.

All that I need is the true "exterior" (some sell cases complete w/ interior parts like the clear tray, the bottom metal pieces that cover the power supply, etc. I just need the absolute outer shell.

I can pay with paypal, or personal check. I have done some trades on these forums before For shipping, my area code is 48840 (Michigan)
yep.

I don't have want you want, but I just saw on Craigslist a guy in Cincinnati has 2 cases he's trying to get rid of. Go here:Powermac G5 Chassis. He's asking $50 each. Good luck.

Just an FYI: while all G5 cases may look the same, they do differ by model. The logic board mounting holes/hardware are a little different depending on generation. Make sure you confirm you're getting one that will work for you. It'd be a bummer to buy and ship a case only to find out the holes don't line up.

I'm currently in a deal with the guy out of cincinnati (for the non-modded case) and as far as I can tell it is the case that I need. Thanks for the bumps! Will post if things work out / not.
yep.

Wow, that is a good price (I checked out his CL post). I was checking out cases last week and all I could find were new ones for around $400.
