After a while she had problems with it randomly locking up. I finally got around to checking it out, and it appears that the hard drive was bad. I was working in the Finder when I could hear it start spinning up and down rapidly and then the Finder locked up. I replaced the hard drive and reinstalled OS X, and it’s working great. I’m impressed by how well it’s running, it didn’t seem nearly as slow as I expected! I was able to browse in Safari quite nicely with over 5 tabs open.

Specs are:
450MHz G3
384MB of RAM
6 GB HD
128MB Rage 128 WITH DVD decoder!
Rev. 2 motherboard, so no problems with dual hard drives
Zip 100 bezel, but no zip drive (I removed the zip drive for a third HD)
SCSI card
CD-ROM drive
Fresh install of 10.4 with all updates to 10.4.9 installed.

One issue it has is the firewire might not work. I can’t test it extensively right now but for now consider it non-functional. It’s probably just the firewire card which can be found for $10 or less if you really require that. Because of the problems I had before, I’m selling it as-is, but like I said I’m quite sure it was the hard drive which has been replaced. The case is nearly flawless and the inside is quite clean as well.

I’m asking $65+shipping, which I’ve found to be $20-30. I’m also willing to entertain reasonable offers.
