Hey,
I'm looking for a nano or an ipod mini, I'm wanting to use it mainly for jogging, I dont feel comfortalbe jogging or working out with my 80 gig video ipod. It just scares the puding out of me. I would hate to jar the read heads and loose everything.
I dont really care about the condition, scratches, scuffs etc. are fine, as long as the thing works i'll take it. Since I'll be running with it, love marks are welcome. I would purchase a shuffle, but I like having the screen so I can see what I want.
Anyways, if you have one please let me know! I'd like to keep it fairly cheap I have plenty of things to trade too.

I have a blue nano, 4 gb, 2nd gen, with a few nicks. it's less than a month old.
Also have a silver mini, 4 gb, 1st gen, that could use a new battery.
See my ad for pics of the nano; need to take some pix of the mini.
I'm looking for $140 shipped on the nano, $70 shipped on the mini.

An iPod mini would still have a HDD so you'd still have to worry about heads jarring.

true, I thought about that, but i'd rather jog with a mini than an 80 gig. I thought about also converting it to CF. But I think I'm leaning more toward the nano right now anyways.

Go for the Nano over the Mini. You can use the Nike-iPod kit with the Nano.

I agree with chabig, If you're main use of this is running, go with a nano. The nike + kit (which you can use with other shoes quite easily) is a real motivator to get out there & run. The challenges with others & the automatic recording of your runs really help to motivate you (me) to get out there & run.

Yeah, I dont think i'm really going to do the whole nike thing (cant afford it), but I'm going to go with the nano since it's flash based and all. It'll suite me fine.
Thanks for the feedback :-D

The Nike kit is only $30, and well worth it.

Yah, even if you don't want the nike kit initially, you can always add it to the nano later, if you want.

Haha,
Okay. Now you guys have me interested. I might pick one up :-D I probably will if I keep this running thing serious, I have a feeling I will I need to get back into shape. I think the Nike kit probably would motivate me quite a bit, since I'd have to keep my self up to date and I would have to try to break my record etc.
Thanks for all of the suggestions :-D

The nike + kit is awesome. If you're looking for motivation to run, the group challenges that you can join really get me out the door on days when I just don't feel like it. It's also nice to look back after a few weeks & look at your progress.
Good luck!

Will do , I'm waiting for a response for a couple other people, but I'll definitely consider your offer. Will it contain everything? or just the nano? Pics?
Thanks a ton.
