It's been like three months - perhaps someone's stock has changed or someone new has joined MacNN...
I need a clamshell iBook keyboard. Any color will work, but blueberry or tangerine is preferred. I could also use either a CD-ROM from a clamshell (NOT the DVD-ROM), or even just a bezel for the CD-ROM.
I'd also like the shipping and accessories boxes and foam inserts for a tangerine or blueberry clamshell, preferably without tape/shipping label residue on it. Plus, if anyone has a power adapter (3rd party is fine) that is compatible with the clamshells, I could use one of those, too.
I have things I can trade:
Components from a 500Mhz G3 iBook. I can't test these as I have no battery or power adapter. The display plastics are in good condition. The reed switch is still intact, as well as the airport and video cables. The keyboard is in excellent condition. The bottom plastics and trackpad piece are in okay condition. AFAIK the logic board is still in working condition, but again I can't test. I also have a working Samsung 12" LCD - the LTN121x1093. This is similar to the 12" LCD found in G3/G4 iBooks and G4 PowerBooks, but it is not identical. It didn't work for my clamshell mod project, but it might work in a different model *Book. If not, it was pulled from an HP/Compaq NC-4000 laptop and would be compatible with that line of laptops and possibly others.
I've also got some other random crap I'd like to get rid of, but I don't want to list it all here. I'll try and get pictures of my crap up on a googlepages page so that you can just peruse it there.
