I am currently rebuilding a 1ghz titanium powerbook. It has a superdrive and 256mb of ram with a 60gb hard drive. The ram can be upgraded, and I have a 100gb HD that could be put in instead. I am currently awaiting a replacement inverter to fix the LCD, as well as needing to repair the left hinge.

When all that is said and done, I will have a nice working 15" titanium. However, I would prefer something a bit smaller and lighter, and the 12" al books have always been on the radar, but never practical. If someone out there would be willing to switch, I would be very interested in hearing about it. I figure the values on both would be pretty similar. If anyone thinks differently or has suggestions, Just lemme know.
