White 1.83 GHz Macbook does not power on. Probably spill damage I bought it like this. No lights or anything. In real nice clean cosmetic condition. 60 gig, 1 gig ram.

This unit was purchased 12/29/06, Serial # 4H647B4DWGK

I will either sell the unit as is as a whole for $450 or I will entertain parting it out.

According to Apple it was spill damage.

I bought it in this condition, and I paid more for what I am asking

but I know there are alot of good parts display, AC adapter, RAM, so on and so on

Make an offer for the keyboard. However,,,.,

I am not 100% certain that I will part it out just yet unless I get enough interest in other parts to make it worth my while so please be patient.

Someone might be able to fix this unit as a whole

So your offering $35 for the whole upper case, including the keyboard, or just the keyboard?

I just want to get everything straight, because if the sale of the whole unit don't go through within 2 days I will begin parting it out.

If it's a spill, there's a good chance the keyboard is shot.

Kevin, did you try replacing the top case? Or testing? My friend just spilled water on theirs, and would not power. A simple swap of the top case and it was working. (dead power button)

Does the power adapter LED even light up?

BTW, I might be interested in just the LCD if you part it out. Or the display module as a whole. I'd say $110 for the LCD and $140 for the display module would be my offers.

I don't have the parts to test it out, your right it may be an easy fix. But your offer for the display parts are fair, and I will keep that in mind.

There are no lights, zero, nada. I know the battery is fully charged though

i hate to revive an old thread, but i bought this macbook from kevin83165. he forgot to ship the charger so he told me he'd ship it out a few days after i'd recieved the macbook. fast forward to over a month later and still no charger. i've sent him a few reminder emails over the past month, none of which he's replied to. his last activity was about two weeks ago. this isn't cool, so kevin, when you see this, just tell me what's up.
