Need money for college badly, so I'm forced to sell my MacBook I bought in December 2006. It's in like-new condition, has a barely used battery, white, and has the following stats: v2.1, screen 14", full Apple Care until December 2009, Intel Core 2 Duo processor (2ghz), 2GB RAM (667mhz), 80GB harddrive, Bluetooth capabilities, built in iSight camera and microphone, Intel GMA 950 graphics card, built in "iSight" camera, microphone, Superdrive x8 (writes/reads all types of DVDs/CDs), remote control, Microsoft Office 2004 loaded on drive, Parallels (run any Window/s OS AND Mac OSX at the same time on the Mac) loaded on drive, plus all documents, discs, and charger included.

(Ignore the stupid sign I made)

This beast originally cost me around $1700, and still would cost about $1600 if you'd get the same stuff with it now. I'm selling it for $925 with priority shipping, insurance, and delivery confirmation. I'm taking payment in Paypal (non-credit card prefered), postal money order, or if you don't mind waiting a week for it to clear before I send out, a check.

If you're interested, I'll also send you a link to my verified Paypal page (send me an e-mail through there, then I'll e-mail you back from that address so it proves I'm not throwing up a random account) and my eBay page.

Questions:

1) Does it have a built in iSight and microphone?
2) A 14" White Macbook? Sweet.

all macbooks have camera/mic and all macbook screens are 13.3" -- did you grab these specs off an ebay auction, as well as the pictures, put them on an image shack account... guess at the screen size, and come up with a very common "college expense" story, in order to rip someone off?

just asking
as ever,

Yes, I know all MacBook's come with the camera/mic, but someone who hasn't looked into buying one or is just starting to might not--that's why it's a good idea to mention it.

It is funny that he didn't answer the question asking if he was a scammer or not.

I figured posting a picture with my user name on a paper with the MacBook would be good enough to make a point, but apparently not.

Ok it's legit. I searched to see if AndrewJohn and Macbook showed up anywhere else on the web. I guess not.

Feel free to write a, "Hello MacNN forums, this is the laptop I am selling for college" on some paper, hnad written, then take a picture of that. That's hard enough to do in photoshop, so that should make people belive you if it's legit.
