I'm selling my Mac Pro to get a MacBook Pro (for portability). The Mac Pro is a dual 3.0 GHz Xeon machine, and I've installed 3.0 GB of Crucial RAM. I have 3 hard drives in it currently, although one is a little shakey (but hasn't failed yet). I don't know the total size of the three drives, but I expect each is about 150 - 250 GB. (I'm posting this away from home). It has Airport (draft n) and bluetooth built in. It also has a Radeon X1900 graphics card.

Please note: I won't be able to ship it until I purchase a MacBook Pro machine and transfer over my files. I have all of the original packaging. The machine was adult-owned (non-smoker).

The bottom line - it is very, very fast - but not portable. Thus, I want to sell it.

I'm asking $3000 for it, or best offer.

I'm not sure. I ordered it on August 7, 2006 when it was first announced. It didn't ship until September 11, 2006.

The main drive is 250 GB.

The second drive is 125 GB. (This drive is currently functional, but I purchased the third drive just in case this one died.)

The third drive is 250 GB.

On the "About this Mac" screen, it says the processos is "2 x 3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon" and the memory is "3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM".

Which MBP do you want? Would you consider a trade?

Sorry, I'm not looking for a trade. I'm going to purchase a new one with the exact specifications I need.

Let me clarify... I've got a friend that's been looking for a Mac Pro. He's got quite a bit of Apple Store credit saving up... But if he orders you the exact MacBook Pro you're looking for, it might work out better foe both of you.

Bump - anyone interested? I'll be receiving my MacBook Pro in a week or so, I could ship the Mac Pro after that.
