I'm selling my desktop and a few other things in hopes of reducing my computers to a single machine and saving up some cash for a new iPod Touch.
Specs:
- 2.66GHz Pentium 4 506 Prescott Processor
- MSI 915GVM3-V
- 1GB Super Talent DDR2 533MHz RAM
- 160GB Seagate SATA hard drive
- Antec Overture Silent HTPC case
-DVD-ROM drive
All this needs is a TV tuner and you'd have a perfect home theater PC. I originally put it together for that purpose but it was so much faster than my iBook G4 that I used it for everything. I've run XP, Vista, Ubuntu, MythTV, and probably more on it, but for the most part it's been my main machine for day to day use. It runs quite cool and it's very very quiet, quieter than my roommate's towers and even his laptop at times.
