Walking to classes each day, I find myself longing for a slightly more portable notebook. I would like to trade my MacBook pro for a current generation black MacBook. Here are the specs of my MBP: - Current-gen 15" configuration
- 2.2 ghz Core 2 Duo Proc
- 2 GB RAM
- 160 GB hard drive
- Nvidia GeForce 8600GT m
- New Santa Rosa chipset
- New LED backlit monitor
- Retail price of $2075
The notebook is in fairly good physical condition. It has some minor zipper scratches on the sides (hardly noticeable, won't even show up in pictures), and the case is dented on one corner (cosmetic damage only, does not impact performance at all). It is in perfect operating condition, and has never given me trouble. It's a solid notebook, and its performance, especially when it comes to bootcamp gaming, is very impressive. It can play even the most modern releases. The notebook will be shipped with all original discs, accessories and manuals.
I would like to trade this notebook for a used, preferably current-gen black MacBook (Retail $1499). The trade could not be made until around Jan. 18th, but I am getting this out early for interested parties. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I have what you want - the new gen black macbook just purchased in sept. 2.16 dual core, 160 GB w/ 2 MB memory. I ave no problems with this computer. The offer is interesting but I have to be a little skeptical given the loss of value you'd be taking. Also, I've never completed a transaction on the MacNN forums and have some concerns over how a transaction like this could be safely conducted.
One question - does your MBP come with the applecare warranty? Mine has two years or 1y 9m left.
Anyway - send me a PM and we'll see where this goes.
