FOR SALE:
PowerBook G4 500mhz with 1 gig of Ram, 20 GB HD, like new condition (for real, no cosmetic issues AT ALL), with Airport Card, and a rev. 1 Base Station. Machine has only been used since last November, only 8 months. rarely has it left my desk. Like New. Screen 100%, great AirPort reception, EVERYTHING tip top.
I'm asking $1500 US, firm. I am using Escrow Canada, so no worries as far as scams (I pay shipping, buyer pays escrow fee). if interested, email tonydayo@mac.com

hmm. If it is new since last November 2001, shouldn't it be the 550 MHz model, or is it the first version of the G4 powerbooks?

Actually I got it new in November (was working at Apple at the time). It is a 500 (not a 550), otherwise known as a Rev. A. So it's a older rev with not as much use (especially since it almost always sits on a desk, unless I take it 3 locks to the coffee shop 6-8 times total). I can provide documentation if requested, no problem.

ah, thanks. The 500 are better at some things than the rev.B's because of their cache differences (550/667 [rev.B 'books] have a skimpy one.  )
