I don't really want to part with my Powerbook G4, but I might. So this potential offer is only to those who meet certain conditions...

They realize my cofiguation costs $4,400 + tax from the Apple Store
They will trade in a Pismo 500 to me for "credit off" the $4,400. How much credit depends on the configuration. If you want you can use other hardward incentives to get "credit off".
It is nice if you live in the Lexington - Boston area but its okay if I can be assured of the quality of the Pismo.

Specs...
Powerbook G4 500
512 2-2-2 ram
Perfect screen
Airport Card Installed
20 gig HD
everything else standard
DVD issue being fixed by Apple as we speak

I can take as many pictures as the buyer wants if we make a deal. if they are in the local area, we should meet.

If you are still interested, email me at anson@desoftware.com.

I don't want to be misleading. The configuration costs $4,400 from the Apple Store but if you buy parts seperately and install them youself, and these parts are not generic the configuation would cost about $3,700 + tax. If you are interested, I also have a three button mouse, keyboard, SCSI burner, and 3-year Apple Care package for the powerbook. The SCSI burner will not work with the Powerbook G4 without an adaptor.

I forgot to mention this unit has two batteries and two ac adapters. It is only two days old and these days it is spending at Apple to fix the infamous DVD drive problem.
