I have a PowerBook Duo 230 that I am considering selling via ebay or yahoo to buy an usb CD/RW drive. Please if any one is interested in a trade for such a drive or has a guess of the value of the Duo let me know.

Here is the Duo package:

PowerBook Duo 230 / 8 levels gray / 1 black line in screen 1/2 below menu bar.
Internal Modem probably 14.4?
16 megs ram
Power cable and adapter box
2 mostly dead batteries
1 battery box
1 soft nylon/canvas like blue case (only holds Duo no extra room)
System 7.6.1 installed
Newer Technology - MicroDock Internet card - Duo not recognizing the card - no clue if it is fixable - worked in the past
2 Floppy adapters with ADB ports - both functioned last use
1 Floppy drive / needs the adapter - not functioning, was dropped from backpack, reads all floppies as uninitialized, will reformat the floppy and seem successful, but never is able to read.

I'd hope that someone with some knowledge of the internal workings of the Ethernet card and floppy drive could fix them? If not the 2 floppy adapters have some value. I'm selling in since I have an Imac and cannot connect via AppleTalk and a printer cable. Without the Ethernet card working there is little I can do.

No software disks or manuals.

I'd like the get the value of a USB CD/RW drive ~$150, do you think there is any chance that this computer and parts is worth that?

Thanks,
iolaire
