For sale: package with 6116/225mhz G3 upgrade, 15" multiscan, printer, modem, zip drive and keyboard/mouse for 400$. It has 136mb of ram and a 1Gig HD with basic programs installed including MS office 98. Also a 7500/400mhz G3 upgrade, 15" multiscan, keyboard/mouse, voodoo3 graphics chip, USB ports. MS office 98, quake 2 and unreal tournament installed. Makes a great gaming machine for anyone with a small budget or is fine with graphics. You can run any game released on this baby and use almost any program. I am letting it go for 800$. Shipping not included.
I guess I CAN lower the prices a bit...but only if you really insist. They are both upgradeable to G4, and the 7500 can hold lots more ram and new hard drives.

136 MB of RAM? That's impossible! I have a 6116CD and the max RAM is 72 MB, with 2 32 MB SIMMs and 8 MB built in.

The problem is that they don't make 64 mb 72 pin simms. On Apple's web site it lists the max RAM for 61xx series as 72 MB.

Actually, 72 pin simms go up to 128MB chips.
When that computer came out, the 32MB chip was the biggest.
Just ignore apple's site.
RootZ - would have bought it, but that 75GB hard drive was calling, and I'm just going to get a dual G4-733 when it comes out.
